You forgot to talk about the power stone anime

When I think of Power Stone, I think of #2 because the multiplayer seems essential and what makes it a blast!

Not a bad little documentary but I wish you'd cover what happened to Andy after he left Team 17.

Oh, damn… back at it with tugging on my nostalgic heartstrings. I have a history with this game. Late teens, one of the few games my parents got for me, and they knew nothing about the franchise. I spent SO many hours mastering this game, and introducing it to the rest of the family.

Porting the Power Stone collection to the PSP instead of the GameCube and PS2 was so foolish

Powerstone is pretty much the only fighter i ever enjoyed playing.. Shame there wasnt more of them Powerstone 2 was the most played game in our office at one point.. 4 player funness!

I remember Rouge was considered for both Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Power Stone was really fun and I wish Capcom would at least re-release both games for modern systems. Maybe release a 3D Fighting Collection.

First game i bought for my dreamcast back in 99. The game was and still is awesome. Ohh i miss dreamcast days. Underrated system.

I subbed to Dreamcast Magazine back when the console launched and I ended up with tons of Demo Discs of badass games. It's had extensive layouts on Power Stone so if you need to see some media about the game that's where you should start.

Dreamcast to this day is the only console I ever bought on Launch day 9/9/99. My first games were Sonic Adventure, Soul Calibur and House of the Dead 2. I later bought Tony Hawk 1, Crazy Taxi, Shenmue, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Worms: Armageddon, Chu Chu Rocket, Space Channel 5, Virtua Tennis and Seaman. I also had the "Gleem" Disc that let you play PS1 game Gran Turismo disc with hi-def graphics. That was the sickest collection of games I'd ever bought for one console. I did get a couple duds one was Dreamcasts first RPG "Evolution" which was trash. Also another Survival horror game called Blue Stinger which was garbage. I'm sure I'm missing about 5 or 6 more games I just forgot over the years but Dreamcast lineup was spectacular. PS2 bullshit hype killed Sega and it's tragic for gamers.

I loved these 2 games. Wish they would have been more popular, I'd love to have seen a third entry.

The best way to play Power Stone is the Naomi arcade version on Fightcade, which is PC emulation software that has rollback netcode online play.

You could overclock a modded PSP while running this game to get near perfect emulation versus the atrocious framerate the official release of it ran at. I still wait for another one maybe before I friggin die.

Funny I was looking into getting these games recently as I just got a Dreamcast (probably my favorite console already) question is should I get Power Stone 1 or 2? 🤔 I’m leaning towards the sequel.

I actually met the guy who made a lesser known spiritual succesor to this game called "Combat Core". He was a pretty cool guy, and while the game just barely hit target on Kickstarter, it was pretty fun from what I heard. It's on Steam right now if any of you are curious. Go show him some support in this era of uncertainty for the medium

Capcom needs to revisit this franchise again, this and Darkstalkers and Rival Schools and Breath of Fire, etc.

Good info in this video. I bought a Sega Dreamcast with my1st pay check. So Dreamcast titles like Power Stone have a special place in my heart.

I'm such a Power Stone freak that i unlocked the First Person mode and knew all the levels better than the back of my hand that it was no problem playing and beating it in that mode countless times. in my top three fighters of all time : )

Some of these IPs might come back. I've heard that Itsuno himself would like to make a third and final installment of Rival Schools, to give the series a proper ending. Who knows? He's now busy with updates and patches on Dragon's Dogma 2.

Slope, on the real. The art style and voice packs, and custom addons for the worms of WMD are bottom tier trash. I can feel a strong skeleton under the ugliest looking and sounding version so far.

I have done the war of the worlds experience in London it was fantastic I specifically remember the group I was in we had to go into this house and a few minutes later we heard a tripods heavy steps and the lights went out and we heard something in the room searching it left but the next thing I new there was a women impaled on a tripods probe but I think my favourite part was when we got onto these boats and we put these VR headsets on and we got see Thunderchild battling the Martians and the tripods looked like the ones from the musical in short it was absolutely fantastic would recommend to anyone who is interested in seeing it!!.

Not sure which worms game it was that I played, but I think it was a demo off the Xbox arcade in the late 2k's. It was fun and had heard of worms before that which is why I gave it a check. I do remember playing a stickman game a ton that thinking about it now was likely highly inspired by worms lol. I used to play the hell of that game.

I am glad you mentioned Hogs of War. Hell of a hidden gem that game. Though Worms 3d sucked badly... Hogs Of War was far better suited and feeling. 2D Worms was where it was at.
